The work gestures – songs of algorithm is a digital structure of audio-visuals which can be instantiated in various physical forms.
It is a modular, scale-able, site-specific networked sculpture for spatial settings of any scale and duration; from private digital space to larger scale white-cube settings. Due to the modular approach these works can be combined in various ways and form an adaptive networked sculpture.
Georg Eckmayr is a time-based artist embracing fragmentation and an artistic researcher. He studied digital art at the class of Peter Weibel under whose supervision he also completed and defended his doctoral thesis on the political potential of digital images.
